Basic module for drawing metallic structures in 3D:

• To draw beams, all standard sections worldwide are available in the 3dS database
  


• The user can create additional sections by entering parameters in a textfile
  


• Create additional sections defined by a polyline
  


• Rectangular plates can be drawn with or without a bolt array
  


• Plates of any form can be created from a polyline
  


• Beams and plates can be cut or lengthened in different ways:
  - by a plane against a line or another element
  - with a shape defined by a polyline
  - coping against another beam
  


• Clash control and accessibility/placement check for bolts
  


• Automatic recognition of identical positions, no matter when they are created while completing the project
  


• Generate a bill of materials of all sections, plates and bolts, including size, weight and paint surface information
  Besides a TXT-file with totals and subtotals, a CSV-file is also generated, without totals, for use in Excel
